A Dialogue with farmers on Environment Conservation & Water Management (Paryavaran Sangrakshan Evam Jal Prabandhan Par Sanjha Samvad पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं जल प्रबन्धन पर साँझा संवाद) focused on Drip Irrigation, a micro-irrigation system, enabling farmers obtain higher yield by involving uniform and optimal delivery of water and nutrient directly to the plant’s root zone through plastic pipes called dripper lines applied either on the surface, next to the plant, or subsurface, near the root zone. While saving 70% water usage ,fertilizers, energy , even crop protection products & labour, in turn, protects environment from being polluted

Aim: To enable farmers to produce higher yield, better quality crops with less resources. It increases water productivity, fertilizers use efficiency, Irrespective of the crop,climate,soil or region

Beneficiaries: Around 50 farmers were oriented towards drip Irrigation system and an exposure visit was made to farm land of farmer Vishal Tomar utilising drip irrigation and attaining good yield
