Ground Water Week Celebration
Society for Social Ventures participated in celebration of Bhujal Saptah (Ground Water Week) 16-22nd July 2021 organized by the Bhugarbh Jal Vibhag Khand Meerut (Ground Water Department Division –Meerut)
7.8. Society for Social Ventures organized Water Conservation Awareness Meeting & A Rally (Jal Sangrakshan Jagrukta जल संरक्षण जागरुकता) i.e. to generate awareness among grass root stakeholders to take a together approach to attempt to rise depleted ground water level & save lives by making Ponds in villages, Dams on drains, Bunding in fields, Rain Water Harvesting on Roof Tops and Tree plantation
Volunteering team: Baran Singh representing village community & Staff of Adarsh Composite School Mawana
Aim: Water is Life, “Come let’s groom our tomorrow, save ground water collectively , save every drop of water and enhance our life span” (Jal hee Jivan hai, Aao Seaware Apna kal,Milkar Surakshit Kare Bhujal ,Pani ki Boond Boond Bachayen,Jeevan Ki Door Badhayen जल ही जीवन है,आओ संवारे अपना कल,मिलकर सुरक्षित करें भूजल,पानी की बूँद बूँद बचायें,जीवन की डोर बढ़ायें )

Beneficiaries: 30-40 villagers were oriented towards water conservation . Rally demonstrated slogans on Water Conservation , Saving Water and Saving lives on earth
