9.2.1. Society for Social Ventures celebrated Independence Day on Rights of Nomadic Community “Ghumantu Samaj key Adhikaron ki Pukar- Yeh hai Kaisi Aur Kiski Azadi (घुमन्तु समुदाय के अधिकारों की पुकार – यह है कैसी और किसकी आजादी)” with nomadic community comprising of Gehare, Lohar, and Sinodheva.

Year: 15th August 2013

Place: Slums located on the side of University Road, Meerut city, District Meerut, State UP

Resource Personnel:Kalawati (from Slum), Sanjeev Durjan, President of University Student’s Union (CCSU).Munesh Singh( Advocate),Tejpal Singh, Dr Snehveer Pundeer,Sunil Rana, Durvesh, Param Singh, Rajvardhan, Sanjai Kumar, Aslam(Student & Research Scholars) Shamshuddin, Ravi Chaudhary & others

Targeted Group / Beneficiary:Slum dwellers(nomadic community), youth ,children, women, men, auto drivers, university students, research scholars, Doctors (PHD), leaders of university student’s union, advocates,lawers & others (Around 150-200 participants)

9.2.2. Society For Social Ventures celebrated Independence Day by organizing health camp and door to door visit on awareness & immunization of Contagious Disease Hepatitis B, sensitizing and mobilizing village community towards its protection and control.

Place: Flag Hoisting at Shiv Mandir ,Households Visits in Village Kishanpur Virana, Block Mawana, District Meerut UP

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: Symptoms, Causes, Protection & Treatment of Contagious Disease Hepatitis B & Tuberculosis were successfully communicated to around 200 Villagers by displaying charts and distributing pamphlets.

9.2.3. Society for Social Venture as Professional Training Associate, Multi Disciplinary Training Center Panjokhara, GOI celebrated Independence day with the message “Self Reliance through Self Employment” & distributed certificates to trainees of Cutting & Tailoring program.

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: 40 trained female trainees, around 70 prestigious residents of the village dhikauli including team of MLA Prabhudayal Valmiki attended the function

9.2.4. Society for Social Venture celebrated Independence day on subject “Swarojgar Berojgari Se Behtar Vikalp” स्वरोजगार बेरोजगारी से बेहतर विकल्प

Place: Panchayat Bhawan Village Kinnanagar, Block Rajpura, District Meerut

Resource Personnel: Gram Pradhan Sunil Kumar and Sunita Goel(Chief Functionary of Society For Social Ventures) with Volunteers Robin Singh

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: Around 100 villagers including ASHA & Aganwadi Workers & Aganwadi Assistants were sensitized towards various skill development programs and loan schemes of KVIC.

9.2.5. Society for Social Venture celebrated Independence day on the subject Environment Conservation & Water Management “Paryavaran Sangrakshan Evam Jal Prabandhan” पर्यावरण संरक्षण एवं जल प्रबन्धन पर साँझा संवाद based on Drip irrigation

Year: 16th August 2019

Place: Enclosure of farmer Vishal Tamar in Village Nanglamal, Block Rajpura, Meerut

Resource Personnel: Resource Person Amit Kumar Khatiyan, Agriculture Scientist from Netafim Irrigation India Pvt Ltd, Vishal and Shivam Tomar (farmers), Sunita Goel (SSV) with volunteers Harveer, Babu etc.

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: 30 farmers were sensitized towards Drip Irrigation System ( a micro-irrigation system) enabling farmers maximise production & minimise cost by involving uniform and optimal delivery of water and nutrient directly to the plant’s root zone

9.2.6. Society for Social Ventures celebrated Independence day on the subject “Covid Main Berozgari Va Samadhan” कोविड में बेरोजगारी व समाधान Uemployment & its solution during Covid.

Year: 15th August 2021

Place: House of Past Pradhan Mohd Ashraf, Village Jasori, Block Khardauda, District Meerut

Resource Personnel: Ayesha,Athar from Madarsa, Maulana Abdul Gaffar, Kari Anwar,Kari Varis,Munshi Abid, Munshi Naufil, Sahnumma (Volunteer & Samooh Sakhi), Sunita Goel(SSV)

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: Around 150-200 including members of 9 SHGs,Aganwadi Workers, ASHA, School Children, College Students & Villagers participated the function and were awared of various employment opportunities.

9.2.7. Society for Social Ventures celebrated Independence day on the subject “Swatrantra Divas ka 75 van Amrit Mahotsav” आजादी के 75वें अमृत महोत्सव among the Village Community and a Rally was also taken out in the Village.

Place: House of Past Pradhan Mohd Ashraf, Village Jasori, Block Kharkhauda, District Meerut

Resource Personnel: Sunita Goel(SSV), Sahnumma (Volunteer & Samooh Sakhi), Maulana Talib ,Azar,Mohd Ishtedar, Mohd Israr, Israr, Jalish, Karib, Nazim, Baseem, Ayesha,Fatima,Shaina etc.

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: Around 200 villagers including Women, Men, Aganwadi workers & Aganwadi Assistants participated the functions with a great zeal of enthusiasm & Patriotism. Youth, Children of the Village made the atmosphere of the village glorious by presenting Dance on patriotic songs
