9.4.1. Society for Social Ventures celebrated International Women’s day with slum of nomadic community involving women, girls and youth living in a very difficult situation, engaged in various activities for generating income to fulfill their basic need.

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: 40-50 women, girls & youth were motivated to raise their voice for attainment of their rights,live a better life within their small income,educate their children ,keep them away from vicious cycle of poverty.
9.4.2. Society for Social Ventures celebrated International Women’s day with the theme of the Year #Make it Happen#. Generate awareness regarding importance of the day , legal rights of the women like Domestic violence Act 2005, Indian penal code 498A, Hindu marriage Act, right to education, health and safe motherhood which can be used for their self defense

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: More than 80 women gathered to celebrate the occasion enthusiastically, presented cultural program and sang local songs. Various women came up with their own successful story of economic and social empowerment. Participants were awared about legal rights and various acts concerning women
9.4.3. Society for Social Ventures as Professional Training Associate of Multi Disciplinary Training Center, Panjokhara, Shamli celebrated International Women’s Day with the theme of the Year #Pledge for parity#, generated awareness towards significance of the day, women contributions in building Nation, rights of women & distributed KVIC Certificates to 43 trainees on completing Cutting & Tailoring training.

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: International Women’s Day was celebrated enthusiastically . Economic, Social & Health subjects concerning women were taken up. Message delivered among unemployed women i.e. develop vocational skill to generate income for strengthening themselves economically. Certificates were distributed to 43 trainees
9.4.4. International Women’s Day celebrations were made by Society for Social Ventures on the theme of the Year #Women in the changing world of work- planet 50-50-by 2030 i.e. Be Bold For Change#

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: International Women’s Day was celebrated among 60-70 Women & College female students participated the programe with great zeal. Courage and determination of ordinary women who played extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities were remembered. Theme of the year was explained i.e. sustainable development of women, the goals of gender equality and indiscrimination, women empowerment, quality education, rights to participate in new researches, no violence against women at home or work place, no female foeticide and infanticide are to be achieved by 2030
9.4.5. International Women’s Day celebrations were made by Society for Social Ventures. Theme of this year was #Press for Progress# i.e. women strength stepping ahead and its leadership development in progressive world.

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: Around 130-150 participants including police officials,Principal,teachers , students of school, and other villagers from village Panjokhra.Topics focused were women’s legal rights, women’s contribution in every field politics, sports, science, art, music etc, 181 phone services , stop female foeticide & Infanticides etc.
9.4.6. Society for Social Ventures celebrated International Women’s day on the theme of the Year # Balance for Better# i.e Behtari ke liye santulan along with KVIC’s One day entrepreneur training Awareness workshop.

Place: Village Nanglamal, Block Rajpura,Dist Meerut
Resource Personnel: Gram Pradhan Munni, her husband Omveer Sing ,Sunita Goel (SSV) along with volunteers Mahendra Singh &Vishal Tomar of the village
Targeted Group / Beneficiary: 81 Villagers were addressed to present an example of strengthening economic & Social condition of the family & society by creating better balance between women and men. Women are progressive in every field like men. By taking loan from nationalized banks under PMEGP women can become self sufficient by setting up their own enterprises.
9.4.7. Society for Social Ventures celebrated International Women’s day on the campaign theme #Choose Challenges for Betterment# i.e bahatri ke liye choonotiyon chuno.

Resource Personnel: Sunita Goel (SSV) along with Monu Singh(Teacher), Kavita Sing (Social Worker) ,Vanshika, Soni, Manisha, Prachi,Bhawna, Shagun, Gungun,Robin Singh, Nikhil, Abhishekh, Sunny, Aditya, Geeta, Kuldeep,Rajkumar etc.
Targeted Group / Beneficiary: More than 100 villagers women,men, youth participated the program and were awared towards contribution of various women e.g. Sarojini Naidu, Indira Gandhi,Pratibha Patil, Kalpana Chawla, Mericom,Sanya Mirza,Sania Nehwal etc in the progress of Nation.The attention was drawn toward women’s progress in every field Science & Technology, Education, Politics,Sports,Art & Music, Navy, Military & Airforce & are seen driving Car,Motorcycle,Bus,Rail, Airoplanes.Legal rights, domestic vilence act,prohibition of dowry Act, safe motherhood ,stop female foeticide were discussed.Girls presented dances to made the atmosphere joyful.

Targeted Group / Beneficiary: 260 Participants (AWWs & AWAs ASHAs,Students & other villagers) participated enthusiastically in the celebration. Speeches ,Dances and small dramas were performed by the Students .The awareness was generated with regard to Khadi & Gramodyog, its various programs of Skill Development, Loan schemes under PMEGP to assist unemployeds, small entrepreneurs to start, expand their own enterprises for generating income to become self reliant.
