Medical Camps
1.1. Activity: Society For Social Ventures (SSV) in coordination with local Doctors Dr.Kanchan Singh, Neeraj Singh, Dr.Rajendra Pandey and ANM, Sunita Goel (Chief Functionary of Society For Social Ventures) organized Medical Camp for free treatment and distribution of medicine.
Year: 22nd October 2010.
Operational Area: Slum area of Karkhana and Khatkhana mohalla, ward no.3 Rajpura, Block Ramnagar, District Chitrakoot.
Targeted Group / Beneficiary:110 people of vulnerable marginalized community.
1.2. Activity: SSV in associated with two NGOs of Meerut, Sai baba Shirdi Sanstha (Rajendra Singh),Indira Awasiya Nigrani Yojna Samiti (Vinod Sharma) , volunteer Gajendra Singh from the village , Dr. Ansari and Sunita Goel (Chief Functionary of Society For Social Ventures) organized Medical Camp for free treatment & distribution of medicine. Possibilities were explored to identify TB Symptomatics.
Year: 3rd March 2013.
Operational Area: Near Shiv Mandir, Gram Panchayat Mandora, Block Sardhana, District Meerut.
Targeted Group / Beneficiary: 250 Villagers and identified TB Symptomatics.
Smart Cards
1.3. Activity: SSV Coordinated the Staff of Sarvodaya Sewa Ashram ( prestigious NGO of Bundelkhand). Sunita Goel (Chief Functionary of Society For Social Ventures) volunteered & assisted Govt in making SMART CARDS under Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna (RSBY) by mobilizing listed BPL families & advocated for introducing unlisted BPL families in BPL list.
Year: 16th & 17th August 2012.
Operational Area: Primary Schools of village Bojh, Kothi, Basiniha,Singhal purva, Station, Jamira Colony, Sucheta Colony, Kalchiha, More, Kolmazra, Dodiamafi, kol Colony, Chetteni, Charehara, Mafi etc.
Targeted Group / Beneficiary:BPL families14 villages of Bargarh, Block Mao,Dist. Chitrakoot.
RRE
1.4. Activity: SSV participated RRE campaign 2012-2013 organized by NACO, Ministry of Health& family welfare with partners NYKS,UNICEF, SACS, NRHM, Ministry of Railways, Hindustan Latex & Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. Sunita Goel(Chief Functionary-SSV) volunteered Red Ribbon Express-Phase III- Campaign for generating awareness about HIV/ AIDS, reduce stigma , discrimination attached with it , increase use of health services and spread the message that “prevention is better than cure”.
Year: 4th and 5th December 2012.
Operational Area: RRE’s 146th Halt at Platform1, Meerut City Station.
Targeted Group / Beneficiary: 35,548 people (Urban, Rural Students, Teachers, Doctors, Govt, Non Govt Staff, staff of Military, Police, Paramilitary forces and others), 255 people attended counseling sessions, 70 people went for checkup & 397 people attended Training Program. One youth was tested as positive.
