RWH (Rain Water Harvesting ) “Catch The Rain Campaign” with the tagline Catch the rain, where it falls, when it falls. According to the report of Ground Water Department in few blocks of Meerut District there is depletion of underground water level , Keeping this in view Society for Social Ventures organized community activities
7.6. Villagers Sensitization & Mobilizing Dialogue to draw the attention of villagers towards Rain Water Harvesting and recharge underground water level
Aim: Rain water is boon of Nature, save it and eliminate water scarcity. Take water at grass root level through people’s participation , create rainwater harvesting structures suitable to climatic condition and subsoil strata, to ensure proper storage of rainwater

Place: Panchayat Bhawan, Village Bhawanpur , Block Rajpura, District Meerut
Resource Personnel: Sunita Goel (Chief Functionary Society for Social Ventures), Pradhan Of the Village Rustam Ali Saifi
Beneficiaries: 25-30 villagers were oriented towards Rain Water Harvesting to conserve rainwater that runs off from rooftops, parks, roads, open grounds etc.
