Secretary’s Address
I take the pleasure of this opportunity to introduce the website of the Society for Social Ventures “ssvnationalcharity.org” for the activities conducted in thirteen years of its existence. The web site is developed in the memory of our beloved Patron Late Smt. Vidya Goel W/O late Shri Ved Prakash Goel who remained a great source of inspiration to all of us since the initiation of our organization from 5th Jan 2010 to 22nd Dec 2019 .We shall always seek her immortal blessings for whatever has been done and shall be done by us.
Society for Social Ventures, a charitable organization is exclusively dedicated to the welfare of most disadvantaged, deprived and socially excluded segments of the rural and urban community with the strong conviction and commitment. It attempts to identify various dimensions of deprived community calling for amelioration, relief and development.
Organization has adopted a flexible approach to work on issues as they emerge. This way, organization has traversed from voracious exploration of the operational areas, rapport building with the community, Govt, Non Govt agencies to continue organizing various grass root activities independently or in coordination with community & other NGOs. There are variety of activities carried out by Society For Social Ventures viz., Advocacy, Awareness generation , Promotion of Literacy among children & Adult women , Health Issues, Skill Development Programs ,Environment Conservation & Water Conservation & such others for the welfare of the mankind specially deprived segment of the community and protection of degraded environment.
Organization is committed to touch every possible aspect of deprived community calling for amelioration, relief, support and development. It has enhanced its reach to comparatively larger number of vulnerable community by implementing various need based welfare programs.
With no external financial assistance, the organization is incessantly organizing welfare activities at the grass root level by investing its own money & time to address the very expressive needs of rural and urban poor to provide relief to them and touch all the dimensions of their upliftment and development.
I am, on behalf of all members of Governing Board, deeply indebted to every community member, volunteer, networking organization partner, well wisher and friend for extending valuable support to help us move a step ahead every year.
