7.3.1. Seed Balls Making (under Heena Project of Coense Solutions Pvt Ltd)
The Program involves making of golf sized balls with wetted consistent clay mixture of soil, compost in the ratio of 3:1 with only 1-3 seeds inside each
Aim: An effort to expand the green covers of Mother earth. Seed Balls thrown on barren land before or during rainy season is a better option for vegetation growing or tree plantation
Year: 21st June 2019
Place: farming land of Pradhan Rajkali’s son Vijay singh, Village Bhawanpur, Rajpura Block, District Meerut
Participated by: Sunita Goel Chief Functionary SSV, Vijay Singh & 15 volunteers (Amit Dubey, Neeraj, Karuna, Vinod, Dilip, Amit Tyagi, Mohit, Ranjan, Sonia, Amit Singh ,Sanjeev, Vivek,Ambuj, Neetre & Amjad) from Sanofi India Pvt Ltd
Outcome: Around 1500 seed balls were prepared to be thrown or scattered on barren or deforested land before or during rainy season in order to assist Mother Earth to take care and nurture them
Small golf sized ball are prepared by mixing soil , water and compost .One to three seeds are placed in center of these balls safely.Seeds used are tamarind, Jamun, Neem, Babul,Gooler, Imli, Banyan,Bakain etc
Around 1500 Seed Balls are prepared enthusiastically by the Volunteers. These ball shall be kept for drying.
7.3.2. Seed balls Throw: 1500 Seed Balls were dried and put into a beg. They were ready to be thrown and scattered on barren/Dried / Devoid of vegetation Land
Year: 16th to 19th August 2019
Place: Village Nanglamal, Block Rajpura, District Meerut
Aim: The aim, of seed ball throw and scatter them on barren track of land before and during rainy season, is growing vegetation and tree plantation naturally in order to restore plant population, increase green cover on Mother Earth which, in turn, nourishes and feed them and creates a habitat for animal and birds

Outcome:
- Seed Balls were thrown on barren patches of land in the village itself ,on bunding etc and other places in and around Meerut on road dividers, on side of road from Village Nanglamal to Garmukteshwar by volunteers of Village Nanglamal during rainy season for mother earth to take care of them and groom them into trees
- Seed Ball were also scattered on the hilly areas of Uttarakhand by Volunteers of Sanofi India Ltd in July Month 2019
